MXLinux preparation
This appears to be the simplest distro to install onto the TCM. By default, it includes a 32-bit UEFI loader with the 64-bit distro. Excellent!
You'll need at least 6.5GB free on the TCM to be able to install it to the internal storage.

Download a MXLinux (19.3) ISO
I chose the standard MX-19.3_x64.iso (The AHS version might be worth a try too.)
In Windows.. (best to do this on a laptop/PC other than the TCM, for speed.)
- Install Rufus (portable) to your PC/laptop - Rufus
In Rufus: Select the destination pendrive (>=4GB recommended). Select the downloaded linux ISO. Important Select GPT NOT MBR partition, then start the process to write to the pendrive
- Safely eject your pendrive
