The ISO is a custom, tailored build specifically for the TCM, with only Atom CPU optimisations enabled.
It is highly likely that other machines will crash during boot, if not worse!
Elements known to work:
Touchscreen, Keyboard/Touchpad, Tablet buttons, Brightness control, Sound control, WiFi, Bluetooth. ~The Live ISOs have micro-SD writing capability via the boot parameter tweak.~~
Test/Installation Summary
- Turn off Windows Fast Startup
 - Shrink your C: partition, to leave at least 12GB space, for Linux.
 - Use Rufus in Windows (yuk!) to create a GPT/UEFI partitioned pendrive with the new ISO on it.
 - Boot the TCM into BIOS and turn off CSM.
 - Interrupt the boot process to select USB as the boot device.
 - If Linux is to your liking, then install to the free space on your MMC storage.
